Between Sun and Storm

This abstract landscape imagines a sudden summer downpour breaking over a sun-warmed village, seen from a shaded balcony. On one side, thick strokes of ochre, gold and warm terracotta hold onto the last of the sunlight across rooftops and walls. Across from them, a dense curtain of white and pale blue paint cascades downward in heavy, dripping ridges, capturing the sheer force of rain arriving all at once.
