Sudden Rain Over the Village – Abstract View From a Balcony
Thick impasto captures a summer storm breaking over a sunlit village — golden rooftops on one side, a dripping white-blue curtain of rain on the other, seen from a balcony.

Between Sun and Storm
This abstract landscape imagines a sudden summer downpour breaking over a sun-warmed village, seen from a shaded balcony. On one side, thick strokes of ochre, gold and warm terracotta hold onto the last of the sunlight across rooftops and walls. Across from them, a dense curtain of white and pale blue paint cascades downward in heavy, dripping ridges, capturing the sheer force of rain arriving all at once. Thin, dark red-brown lines cut through the composition like wrought-iron balcony rails or a glimpse of falling branches, anchoring the view to a specific vantage point. Soft mauve drips echo the rain further into the warmer half of the painting, blurring the line between the two weathers. The result is a tactile, almost meteorological abstraction: one instant of village light caught in the middle of changing.
