Silent Visitors gathers a row of tall, luminous shapes that hover somewhere between figure and pure gesture. Thick vertical strokes of pink, turquoise and cream are pulled down the canvas with a palette knife, leaving ridges of paint that catch the light like folds of cloth. The forms crowd together without touching, each one distinct, as if a silent assembly had stopped mid-approach. Cool blues on the left give way to warm corals and magentas on the right, so the whole surface seems to drift from dusk toward something brighter and more insistent. Up close the texture is almost sculptural — glossy peaks, buried layers, small flashes of yellow and green surfacing between the strokes.
