- Pigment inkjet (giclée) with eight HP Vivera pigment inks, three of them black.

- Two wooden stretcher profiles: 3/4 inch, which sits closer to the wall, and 1.5 inch for more presence.

Choosing what happens at the sides
A stretched print has four visible sides, and you decide what goes on them. When part of the picture matters right up to the border, choose the mirrored or plain finish so nothing is wrapped out of view.

- The picture continues onto the sides. A narrow band moves from the border onto the frame.
- Mirrored
- The border is flipped onto the sides, so nothing at the front is lost.
- Plain band
- The sides are a single colour and the picture stops at the front face.
Looking after it

- Keep out of direct sunlight and away from damp rooms.

Concentric spirals and dissolving figures racing toward an unreachable horizon
About this painting
Loops Without Exit confronts the paradox of perpetual motion with no arrival. A deep concentric spiral dominates the left—a closed vortex, a labyrinth drawn tighter with every turn, offering no outward path. To the right, ghostly human silhouettes blur and dissolve into horizontal speed lines, figures caught mid-race whose forms evaporate before any finish is reached. The horizontal bands cutting across the composition read as pure velocity—the relentless forward rush of a race that never ends. At the far edge, a breath of sage green bleeds into the pale cream and silver field: a mirage of grass, of a finish line, of somewhere to arrive—gone before it can be grasped. The palette—cool dusty blue, silver, worn cream, a whisper of green—is deliberately drained of triumph. There is no gold here, no celebration. Only the loop, the blur, the receding horizon. This is the closed circuit of ambition, the treadmill dressed as a track.
