- Sides
- The picture can be carried around the sides, mirrored, or finished as a plain colour band.
- Framing
- A floating frame or a decorative moulding can be added when ordering.
- Hanging
- Delivered with hanging hardware, ready to hang.
- Longevity
- Pictorem states that its pigment inks resist fading for 100 years or more under normal display conditions.
Choosing what happens at the sides
A stretched print has four visible sides, and you decide what goes on them. When part of the picture matters right up to the border, choose the mirrored or plain finish so nothing is wrapped out of view.
- Picture carried round
- The picture continues onto the sides. A narrow band moves from the border onto the frame.
- Mirrored
- The border is flipped onto the sides, so nothing at the front is lost.
- Plain band
- The sides are a single colour and the picture stops at the front face.
Looking after it
- Dust with a dry, soft cloth. No cleaning products, no water.
- Keep out of direct sunlight and away from damp rooms.
- Hang with the hardware supplied rather than adhesive hooks.

Circles, Arcs and Bands of Colour
About this painting
Fractured Bloom stays purely nonrepresentational: no place, no object, just bold blocks of colour set against a butter-yellow ground. A broad vermilion panel holds three pale cream ovals like punched-out coins, while a large blue dome curves across the upper right, capped with a soft cream crown. A small red ring floats near the centre, and a diagonal red band cuts low across the composition. Fine cracks run through the yellow ground, reading as thickly built paint aged by time. The palette stays bold and warm, red and gold balanced by a single cool arc of blue. It would suit a modern living room, where its confident shapes could anchor the space. Nothing here depicts a scene, only colour and form doing the work.
A digital painting: the shapes and bands composed on computer, their impasto-style crackle finished in an AI-assisted pass.
